Daily Destination | Norfolk with David Schwartz

Wednesday July 21st

Happy Hump Day, Pantry readers! Today’s Daily Destination has a lot to offer – timeless elegance, lush flowers, adorable tots, and some seriously wow-worthy lighting and decor. Washington DC wedding photographer David Schwartz was kind enough to let us share this lovely Virginia wedding.

Lindsay & Rad

Lindsay & Rad were married at the Half Moone Cruise and Celebration Center in Norfolk, Virginia, which doubles as a gateway for cruise ships sailing to beautiful ports-of-call and a magnificent wedding venue. Their color palette was lovely; soft and deep pinks combined with green were the perfect hues for their formal nuptials. The bridesmaids wore strapless dresses in a light pink and carried bouquets of pink garden roses and green hydrangea, designed by Leslie Hartig. Reva Stein was the fabulous coordinator behind this affair, and Blue Steel Lighting created the dramatic lighting for their reception. We love the look of sheer happiness and contentment on Lindsay & Rad’s faces in every single photo; Lindsay looks so blissful and radiant! Maybe it has something to do with a sweet sentiment Rad wrote in here?

Congratulations, Lindsay & Rad! We truly enjoyed sharing this wedding with our readers. Visit David’s blog to see a complete post on this wedding! Seriously, he blogged 70+ images.

Daily Destination | Baltimore with Jennifer Hughes

Friday July 9th

Happy Friday, Pantry readers! We’ve got a fabulous fete for you this morning from Washington DC wedding photographer Jennifer Hughes. Kendall & Mohamad’s wedding was bright and colorful, and included a very special surprise for the groom!

Kendall & Mohamad

Kendall & Mohamad’s fabulous wedding took place at the Engineer’s Club in Baltimore on May 8.  Katie Martin of Elegance and Simplicity did a fantastic job coordinating all of the details of the day an creating the amazing florals, too – the end result was breathtaking! We love the tree branch centerpieces adorned with hanging votive lanterns.

Charm City Cakes designed the groom’s cake, which was modeled after a urological machine that Mohamad uses in his practice! Definitely the most original groom’s cake we’ve seen here on the Pantry.

Congratulations, Kendall & Mohamad! Big thanks to Jennifer for sending us some awesome photos from their day. Keep an eye out for Kendall & Mohamad on Ace of Cakes - word on the street is that the film crew was there to document the presentation! Visit Jennifer’s blog for more wedding goodness.
