Jennifer & Brian
Jennifer and Brian met with Washington DC-based photographer Mary Kate McKenna at Sugarloaf Mountain Vineyard in Comus, Maryland for their playful engagement shoot. Sugarloaf Mountain Vineyard is a 92-acre Windmill Farm. It has three landmarks on its property, a double-bank red barn which was built in the early 1900s, a silo and a windmill—all of which were featured in the couple’s photographs.

Congratulations, Jennifer and Brian! We can’t wait to see photos from your wedding this December. For more of Mary Kate McKenna’s great work, visit her blog.

Lia & Rob
Lia and Rob’s engagement session in Florence, Italy is magical— and that’s putting it mildly! Birmingham-based photographers Vania and Christine of Simply Boom Photography took these shots in the Piazza della Signoria, Duomo di Firenze, and Ponte Vecchio. Lia is striking in her red ballet outfit and shoes. Rob looked handsome at her side.

Melissa & Dave
Melissa & Dave met while they were both working at the Massachusetts State House, which is why they decided to start their engagement shoot, with Boston-based photographer Melissa Coe, at the same location.
The couple brought their two dogs along with them. Both dogs were rescued from Puerto Rico and have become a very important part of Melissa and Dave’s life together. “These guys were pretty cute and had lots of fun sniffing around and chasing squirrels on the [Boston] common,” said Melissa. The group also took shots in the Boston Common and inside the Suffolk University Law School.

Congratulations, Melissa & Dave! We can’t wait to see how you’ll incorporate your pooches into the wedding. :) For more of Melissa’s great work, visit her blog.

Marina & Adam
Marina and Adam met through a mutual friend … sort of. Their friend performed at a local bar where Marina and Adam would attend the shows with separate groups of friends. They never actually met until one night when Adam spotted Marina from across the room. He quickly became infatuated with her and once he realized they had a mutual connection he got Marina’s number. The very next day he called her and asked her out on a date. Marina was a little nervous about their first date, but all of her worries washed away when she first saw Adam, who was smiling ear to ear when he picked her up.
This twosome eventually became engaged and wanted really interesting engagement pictures. They chose Canada-based photographer Ewan Phelan of The Last Forty Percent to capture their love in a very unique shoot using large boxes.
