Shelley & Greg
Shelley is a wedding planner extraordinaire in the Kitchener, Ontario area. This detail is important because once she and Greg were engaged—they married just eight weeks later! Though time was short, Shelley managed to plan a beautiful wedding with fellow wedding planner Afzia of Style and Elegance. Before all of the wedding planning began, the couple managed to squeeze in an engagement shoot with Canada-based photographer Erin Samuell of A Simple Photograph, who also shot the couple’s wedding.
Before the ceremony, Shelley and her bridesmaids got ready at the Delta Hotel. Shelly’s make up was designed by Sonia Ryan and her hair was in curls accented with a feather. Her adorable sweetheart dress was from David’s Bridal. My favorite detail of Shelley’s outfit was her royal blue shoes that she bought from Zappos. The bridesmaids also wore royal blue cocktail dresses by Alfred Sung. Greg wore a gray pinstripe suit, white shirt and a pink boutonnière that was designed by Les Fleurs Floral Boutique. Les Fleurs designed all of the flowers worn and arranged.
The wedding was hosted at The Tannery, a luxury urban space used for businesses, special events and residents. Shelley arranged for a variety of personal touches like the specially designed stationary for the menu and the hand-embroidered handkerchiefs made for each guest to take home. A five-course meal was served to guests from Bingeman’s Grand Experiences. For those who didn’t have any room to eat cake, they could at least enjoy the look of it. Created by Sweet Sweets, the couple’s weddings cake was dripping in faux pearls, wrapped with a poem written by Greg and detailed with colorful fondant flowers.

Congratulations, Shelley & Greg! For more of Erin’s great work, visit her blog.
