Annelisa & Jason

Annelisa and Jason married at the Chapel of the Incarnate Word Ministries. Designed by architect F.B. Gaenslen, the chapel features stained glass windows, Romanesque arches, carved wood and sanctuary medallions decorated with delicate paintings of flowers.

San Antonio-based photographer Philip Thomas first met Annelisa when he was capturing her sister Michelle’s bridal photos. He felt honored when Annelisa and Jason asked if he would photograph their wedding.

Annelisa wore her hair down in long curls with an elbow-length veil. She carried white roses while her bridesmaids carried yellow, orange and pink flowers. Jason wore a black tuxedo with a white tie and vest.

After the ceremony the bridal party was bussed to the reception at the Sky Room at the McCombs Center. Each table was covered in white linens with a black stripe down the middle. The tabletops were decorated with large glass floral centerpieces, and each chair was covered in black fabric. A mariachi band entertained the guests during dinner, and the evening wrapped up with lots of dancing. “Annelisa and Jason are an amazing couple and look great together,” said Philip.

Congratulations, Annelisa and Jason! For more of Philip’s great work, visit his blog.
