It’s the heat of summer, which means we’re smack dab in the middle of wedding season! Summertime boasts lots of backyard or farm vintage and DIY-inspired fetes (which, don’t get us wrong, we love!), but it’s always nice to see a couple’s take on a more formal summer wedding. New York wedding photographers Steve + Tak, who together make up STAK Photographer Duo, have just that for us today!
Nicole & Josh
Nicole & Josh were married at the Birchwood Manor in Whippany, New Jersey. The Georgian-style mansion exudes timeless elegance and charm, which made it perfect for Nicole & Josh’s nuptials. The ceremony was held outside in the mansion’s formal gardens, but the festivities moved indoors to get the real party started.
Their color scheme of pink and green was subtle yet noticeable throughout the day. The reception centerpieces were gorgeous pink lilies tied together delicately with green ribbon. The bridesmaids wore pumps in various styles and shades of hot pink, which really popped against their silver satin dresses! The groomsmen, not to be outshone, donned a pink vest and tie combo. And honestly, Nicole may just be the loveliest bride we’ve ever seen! Her strapless gown is a showstopper in its own right, but she accessorized it with a rhinestone belt and headband and super flirty pink Kate Spade sandals.
