Daily Destination | San Francisco with Cliff Brunk
Friday July 30th, 2010
What drew me to today’s daily destination was a silhouette photo of the bride. The dress by Amy Kuschel was accented perfectly by the mother of the bride with a stunning vintage brooch. The details of this wedding are showcased by wedding photographer Cliff Brunk.
Kristin & Omar
This couple dreamed of a destination wedding in Europe and then realized exactly how breath taking their hometown was and decided to have the ceremony there at Terra Gallery.
With the city as their inspiration, the details of the wedding included a lot of local elements. Spring Loaf Catering created small plates based on famous neighborhoods (North Beach, Chinatown, Fisherman’s Warf & Porter Hill) for the guests to enjoy while listening to the sounds of a local mariachi band. Kristin & Omar’s family and friends helped create their vision with birdcage centerpieces, shoe clips and boutonnières all accented with yellow.
“The most amazing part of the day was starting our life together in front of everyone we cherish,” Kristen commented. “Throughout the celebration we were overwhelmed by the love we felt from our family and friends. It was an amazing day filled with emotions, and lucky for us we hired Cliff to capture it.”
Congratulations, Kristin and Omar! I hope this post inspires you. Check out more of Cliff’s great work on his blog.
