Daily Destination | Boston with Jill Higgins

Welcome back from another hot weekend, everyone! Today’s supposed to be another scorcher, but we’ve got a super cool Boston wedding from Atlanta wedding photographer Jill Higgins to cool you off.
Flora & Rory
How did a wedding photographer based in Georgia end up shooting a wedding at the Boston Public Library, you might ask? Flora met her at a friend’s wedding she photographed in California. Referrals, people!
Flora & Rory met at MIT and spent lots of time studying together at the tables in the Boston Public Library, founded in 1848. The time they spent there during their relationship made it the perfect venue for their wedding, not to mention it’s absolutely stunning! Flora & Rory were wed outside in the library’s courtyard, where guests also enjoyed a cocktail hour before moving into the library for the beautiful reception. Tables were set up literally amidst the stacks; the seating cards mimicked library check-out cards and the beautiful flower centerpieces sat aside piles of books in a genre corresponding to the table name. We love the details in this wedding, and Jill did a fantastic job capturing their day!
Congratulations, Flora & Rory! Thanks, Jill, for sharing these beautiful images. Be sure to check out her blog for much, much more prettiness.
