Today’s Daily Destination has everything we love about a wedding: a stunning setting, beautiful and personal details, a gorgeous dress, a happy couple, and elegant decor. However, sometimes the real meaning of a wedding is lost in detail shots of shoes, bouquets and invitation suites. This wedding from Pensacola wedding photographers Paul & Mecheal Johnson is all about the heart of the union, which we think makes it truly special.

Sheeva & Eric had a heartfelt May wedding in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. Sheeva’s son, Nicholas, was a huge part of their wedding day. He walked his mom down the aisle, Eric gave him a special bracelet during the ceremony, and he even picked the song he and his mom would have their first dance to: “Paparazzi” by Lady Gaga! Needless to say, the photos tell a very touching story.
Since there was an abundance of children at the wedding, Sheeva decided to set up a kids’ activity table to keep the little tykes busy during the reception. Don’t think for a second that the rest of the reception looked childish, though! Sheeva & Eric’s reception featured a classic black and white check dance floor for guests to boogie down, white lanterns strung overhead sophisticated table settings, and lots of lovely turquoise and orange details.
