Good morning! I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend and is ready for a wildly gorgeous wedding. Chicago wedding photographer Olivia Leigh of Olivia Leigh Photographie documented Julie & Brett’s quirky, vintage affair. The venue, an antique store/museum, provided endless shooting possibilities and was the perfect compliment to Julie & Brett’s beautifully detailed ceremony and reception.

Julie & Brett were married at the incomparable Architectural Artifacts located in downtown Chicago. Architectural Artifacts has an 80,000 square foot showroom ripe with antiques and treasures from throughout the world, which made it easy to find some super cool props for portraits. This was the first time Olivia shot at Architectural Artifacts and the space exceeded her expectations, which is easily understandable after one look at Julie & Brett’s wedding.

The adorable, printed paper goods were done by the bride and groom themselves but be sure to check out the rock star list of vendors who made the rest of their day so perfect. Julie’s Liancarlo gown was simply stunning (especially the detailing in the back) and her vintage jewelry looked like something lovely she picked up while browsing the Architectural Artifacts showroom! I can’t wait to share the photos, so I’ll get right to it. By the way, points to Julie & Brett for one of the most clever and simple centerpiece ideas I’ve ever seen – globes!
