This cold front that’s been plaguing the northeast for the past few days has me longing for a tropical vacation, so today’s Daily Destination is the perfect escape. Jessica & Jimmy’s destination wedding is fitting for our feature’s title – a big thank you to wedding photographer Michelle Turner, who spends half of the year photographing weddings in Mexico and half of the year photographing weddings in Portland, ME. Not a bad gig, if you ask me!

Jessica & Jimmy’s colorful wedding brought their close family and friends from New Jersey all the way to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. They were married at the beautiful Playa Fiesta Beachclub & Hotel, which is a full-service boutique wedding hotel that takes care of everything from food to flowers and everything in between! Lindsay Burgess was the coordinator who made it all come together.
Jessica & Jimmy had a Cuban band play at the reception and had fire jugglers heat things up during the party – literally! Michelle, Jessica & Jimmy also ventured into Old Town Puerto Vallarta for a Trash the Dress shoot after the wedding, making for some super fun and romantic portraits.
