Daily Destination | Milwaukee with Matt & Stevi Savage

When I came across this wedding shot by Chicago wedding photographers Matt & Stevi Savage, I knew that I had to save it for the long holiday weekend (even though I was really excited about it!). Lia & Jake were wed in a beautiful and traditional church ceremony. Their reception took place at the amazing Milwaukee County War Memorial Center, which provided a stunning setting for portraits.

I think what I love most about this wedding is the sense of pride that radiates from Jake and the obvious adoration he has for Lia. Their wedding was also full of timeless details! Guests found their seats thanks to wine cork place card holders, Lia looked stunning in classic pearls and a shoulder-length veil, the bridesmaids’ blue dresses were complimented by red shawls, and the night ended with a good old-fashioned sparkler sendoff.

I hope everyone enjoys their Memorial Day, and I hope this wedding reminds all of us to take a moment to thank the brave women and men like Jake who proudly serve our country everyday.
